Totally OT but funny

I thought you lot might like this one.

On Friday I receive a letter at work from my parents. What?

Anyway, open the envelope and there are two sheets of computer printed
paper. They had found an article on a website they thought I might be
interested in so printed it out and snail-mailed it to me

Pissed myself laughing.

I've been banging my head on the wall for the last decade trying to
talk dad through computer stuff over the phone. It hasn't sunk in,
obviously.

 

My neighbour is interested in installing some solar power so looked it
up on the net and phoned the people whose number was on the website.
Talked to them for about half an hour and they promised to send him
out some further information. On thursday he comes over to discuss it
with me bringing the stuff they mailed him, about ten pages from their
website plus an application form, also from their website.

Yes, I know what you mean.

My dad writes little stories for his local vintage car club mag, snail-
mails them to me. I convert them to grammatical English and fix his
Dutch/English spelling. I then email the attachment to the editor and
they eventually get on their website and in the printed mag, which dad
then receives. He's 94.
