The Daily Mail today reports that James is in negotiation for a Suzuki ride
    in 2006.
If this comes off yes it will be good to have another Brit. aboard, but if
he and a few others from WSB move up where does this leave that formula next
    year ?

This stuff just kills me. Take a guy that can't even beat his own
team mate (who is on the same bike and same tires) and put
him in MotoGP. Of course Toseland's current bike is probably
faster than the Suzuki GP bike.

Hardly surprising when you see the bike they put him on is it? Yes I agree
the Brits who go to MotoGP are not of the same calibre as the 'regular'
riders, but they stand no chance at all on the bikes they give them! Really
makes me wonder how they can stick it in there. Hopefully Toseland will
realise MotoGP isn't the place for him yet (if ever!)

One Brit who WOULD be up there with the best is Chaz Davies (250), but he
stands about as much chance of getting a factory ride as I do (

    bother was Foggy

    He could have kicked arse....

Sometime around Sat, 13 Aug 2005 14:18:23 -0700, auscars babbled on about:
For a guy that did zip he seems to be doing OK in America this year, and
given the standard of machinery or support Hodgson had during his brief
MotoGP career I think he did well to even bother turning up. Now had he
had a competative machine it would have been an interesting year.

I do not think he is doing that well in America. He is behind is
teammate in wins and in the championship. He looked pretty
good early in the year, but hasn't looked good lately.

I disagree. He's kicking ass. He's never been on these tracks before.
He was doing great at Laguna until Josh Hayes' mistake. I talked to
Josh two weeks ago, and he said he was totally out of control up on top
of the hill and couldn't get back in shape prior to the corkscrew. That
    wreck wasn't Hodgson's fault.

He's won a race, the bike is coming around, as shown by Eboz winning a
couple. Who else has won besides Mladin?
