Keep the kids out in the garden with the foxes, seems like good advice.
Alternatively, don't do housework - ever.

    Years of obsessive housework? ;o)
It's transpires that it is a function of the immune system run riot so I
suppose there could be various triggers? there also appears to be an
    inheritable element.
I was slightly off mark in a previous statement where I suggested that
children brought on farms etc. did not develop asthma. IIRC it does happen
but in fraction of the percentage of those brought up in more modern and
    cleaner situations.

    (a) I've no idea, nor do I suspect do you

    (b) you're assuming that it matters if environmentally-friendly cars
    are brought closer or not

    (c) I wasn't talking about reducing car journies to an absolute
    minimum, merely about restricting them.

    You fight dirty, don't you?

and then engage brain and then come back and agree with me that it is
impossible for everyone to be affected.
Sorry not my tory propaganda. I cannot tolerate newspapers like the Mail
    - they are vile and insidious devices that turn people's brains into
    unquestioning mush.

  9. Well sweetheart, it's *so* nice to know that I can make the most
effective contribution by just being me ;-)

    It does, rather.[/QUOTE]

    Why?

You don't pay proportionally more for a pint of milk off you're well
off, do you? (out of taxed income, anyway)

In fact, I can't think of anything that costs more because you earn
    more, so why should speeding?

Still income. Still taxed as such.

That'd be why Mexico City, Jakarta, Cairo and Delhi, to name but four,
    are such small cities, then.

    Defence £26bn last budget.

    Social Security £133bn.

    No breakdown of SS, though.

    For comparison:

    Transport (?) £15bn.
    Debt Interest £22bn.

    Estimated Fuel duties £22.1bn

Even if it were, it's the cheapest debt for donkey's years. Makes
sense to borrow when it's cheap. Nice little 25 year fixed rate debt.
    Lovely.

You're not really suggesting that the seventies were some kind of

    Of course you are.

  20. If your into sifting though rubish heaps for a living. It end up with
all the people who farmed the land, producing food, in the city. Next
thing you get is a famine, shortage of food...
