  8. Too right. Lock 'em up and throw away the key, etc. Idle young sods,
wasn't like that in my day, I should cocoa. Bring back National Service
while we're at it; could do with a haircut all of 'em.

It was more a rhetorical question but probably better phrased "Surely the
British population can't become more shallow?"

And those who wish to "get rid of Bliar", remove Tory Lite and replace it
with Tory Classic may be in for a *very* nasty shock when they get the
    real thing.

    <unhappy sigh>

I meant extra product specific taxation as you very well knew.

Look you twat we live on a planet with a very short shelf life in a solar
system with a termination date in the middle of very dangerous space. There
is only the now and the near future for HS so it doesn't matter if we
consume everything quickly and wear the systems out pronto.

Highly unlikely. You might like to think it is so but you can't avoid having
    an influenced perspective.
Specific product taxes discriminate against the less well off in an
    unacceptable way IMHO.
By the ability to travel or enjoy freedom of movement
    I meant product tax
Allowing it to be reclaimed as part of the tax return based on post
    code/occupation seems eminently practical.
The fuel blockades were interesting but doomed. Only the execution of
politicians and the bombing of central London works.

Of course I'm making it up along the way, you think I sit all day and dwell
    on this kind of crap?!

If there was a real desire to improve the environment the sale of ordinary
light bulbs would be ended, Nuclear power would be extended and a tidal
    power stations would be commissioned.

  16. He seams to pick up on the stuff to suit his needs, leaving large chunks
    out.

It sounds like he's institutionalised. City people get like that. To
scared to leave the city. Can't handle the shops being shut at night. No
street lights. No Sound. Peaceful and quiet.
