Hi All

What was the name of that bridge on Top Gear tonight?

I would love to go there but missed the name of it... was too busy drinking
my beer and stuffing my face.

Some lovely gorges and roads around that part of the world as well.

Worth the trip imo.

A Luxembourgian lady in a German renault laguna drove into me at the service
station in Wasserbillig; is what happened there, triggering a set of events.

1. I had to wait for the boys in green.
2. Had to make the car driveable by removing a lot of plastic trim with my
pocket swiss army knife, reseating the bumper and bungying it in place with
my in car washing line.
3. Exchange insurance details in languages neither of us spoke.
4. Slow progress into Germany thanks to volume of traffic, I was behind time
thanks to an accident closing two lanes of the A1 out of Luxembourg anyway.
5. Missing the England vs Sweeden World Cup Game in Cologne which I'd
managed to get a ticket for. (Probably not a bad thing in hindsight).
6. Having to hire the ringhaus golf as they wouldn't let my car on with the
damage.

 

No denying that .... some superb photo's there Bruce.

Day 2 we stayed overnight in Clermont-Ferrand; driving in - there was the
most intense 1 hour thunder storm I have ever witnessed, with rain so hard
people were pulling off the road to sit it out.

I was glad of the cage at that particular point in time ;-)
