I haven't a clue, I don't do pubs so don't take much notice of them.
They're just big buildings with shouty pissed people in them to me.

My life now comes in smaller bite sized pieces, with longer gaps

heh, that's exactly what we did. Having said that, the tiny crowd were

Jeez, I wouldn't feel too bad, it's hardly the centre of the Universe - it's
10 minutes down the A1 from here and I haven't been there for probably 10

The Horns in Watford does - if it's not a bit far

 

I used to pass through it all the time but can never recall stopping
there. A pub with 3 customers on a Saturday night is awful, though.
There'll be much more of that when the smoking ban comes into effect.

Me, I'm in St Neots....

 

Nothing to stop for (bypassed by the A1 anyway) - there used to be a decent
bike shop there (Bryants) but I believe that closed a while back...

Sure, that's what you get when you turn pubs into *nurseries*...

 

Reminds me of our first and second gigs.

First gig, we played to the other bands, and maybe half a dozen
people.

Second gig, the other bands ran away and we played to maybe two

My missus works there - compressor firm whose owner used to own Flitwick
Motorcycles (I believe) and who has got literally *shedfulls* of bikes...???
