    You keep using this line.

I wonder why? Is it because you know when it comes down to it that
you're an inadequate and your way of coping with it is to offer physical
    threats?

Sucking his keyboard for inspiration, Nige typed:
OK, Nige, I give up. I've googled it and been to eleventy five movie quotes
sites, and I can't find it. Where's it from?

Sucking his keyboard for inspiration, Colin Irvine typed:
"I'm a member of the Little Brothers of the Holy Tree-House, and I am
forbidden to discuss my religion with any but the Chosen Ones." That's got
rid of more religious nutters from my front door than any amount of
go-away-you-mad-fuckers, and it's polite too. Who's to say it isn't true?

This would concur with my recent courtroom experience. Whilst the
defendants were fucking liars of the worst water, the way it *had* to
be played was for us to prove it. In any case, the barrister would
only have been playing the cards dealt to him by his clients. Any
usage of unparliamentary language would most certainly have not been
tolerated, (which was very difficult in our case).

Did you ever get your money actually paid? We are still trying to
extract it from our lot, and will be back in court next month in this
    regard.

Sounds like fun. Our lot lied and were sussed out by the judge. As a
result he discounted every piece of their evidence and told them that
he would not believe a single word any of them said unless it was
    corroborated by an independant witness.
Would be interesting to see, if the case details are still available on
    line.

    I might just use that.

At the risk of exciting the gingophiles, I'm reminded of the offspring
of a Hell's Angel father and Jehovah's Witness mother who went round
knocking on people's doors and telling *them* to **** off.

"Your honour, I put it to you that the defendants are indeed obnoxious
    slanty-eyed gook cunts"

"I fully understand Mr Ponsonmby, lets not bother hearing the case. Mr
and Mrs Wing Wang, I find you guilty of all charges and any others that
may be fabricated against you, and sentence you to 10 years of cooking
only tasteless English food and a life of politeness to your neighbours"

    Genuine LOL.

Would have been a lot cheaper, been less hassle, and had the same
    result.

That's it, you've been going to the states too much, get back now,
    quickly, before it's too late.

  17. You might be right there. At least I've resorted to "blue cheese",
instead of having to pronounce "ranch" like a northerner.

  20. And even *less* entertaining. At least Des was capable of flashes of
humour and/or rational thought. Just not very often.
