Sidestep Sydney, head down the Putty Road and from Windsor to Penrith (
roughly ) and then the Northern Road . Then you can join the Hume Hwy or
head across towards Wollongong and take the Princess Hwy.

  2. Shittylink sent me two invoices before threatening to pass it onto Police
for a hundred dollar fine. The first was for nearly three times the toll,
the second for nearly five times. I waited 'til time was nearly up on the
second and paid the first. Retrospective passes are only nearly twice the
toll. This was in the GTA. I avoided them, and will continue to do so, in
the Jeep or any other vehicle with more than three wheels!

  4. Clem,

If by chance your numberplate were slightly err shall I say ...
difficult to read at a key point on the road because you arse accidently
slipped back in the seat.... and errr... to get your balance you
accidently had your foot in front of your numberplate at the most
inopportune time (right as you go under the toll thing... well then...
    accidents happen mate.

  10. Melbourne, it's free..

Sydney, you'll either end up at a toll booth and have to pay cashola, or
you'll end up on the M7 (or likely both, you have to pay to get onto the M2,
then it's cashless on the M7), for which you phone up, and they give you a
URL to go to, where you punch in your rego number, your credit card number,
and they just bill you each time you go through.. Quite easy to do really..
Now if I could remember the URL, I'd tell you, but I've totally forgotten...
It's hard to miss the 200,000 signs telling you the phone number to ring
though, and you've got 48 hours to go register on the website after passing
through the M7, so you shouldn't have too many problems...

(And come to think of it, I never got charged for my last two trips up and
back via the M7 (once on bike, once in car), so I don't think they actually
    bother with out-of-state'ers...)

    Cheers,

    Damien
