Yes, he probably would, given that his only other options were to cancel his
flight and drive it down South or find somebody else on our site who would
    pay more for it[1].

However, he's not a bad lad and I don't have your years of experience at
driving a hard bargain and then being able to sleep at nights afterwards :)

[1] If I offered X, the true value of the car is T, the cost of plane
tickets (lost) plus petrol to drive South is F, the probability of selling
the car for T down south is P1 and the probability of finding somebody else
on site who will pay more than I did is P2 then what, mathematically, is the
minimum price he should ask for the car? I started off thinking this would
be quite simple, but I don't think it is. If you discount the possibility
of somebody else on site buying it then the lowest price should be P1(T-F).
Oh, I don't know, maybe the maths bods can help me out.

heh, the day before that that was posted I was trying to figure out
why my rear washer wasnt working. Figured either frozen or electrical
    (could'nt here the pump).

Could'nt find anything obvious and could'nt get to teh actual
motor/pump to check so left it.

Read that article and went hmmm...

anyways, tried it last night again and it's working???
