My neighbour is selling his Honda XL125 and would like to get an idea of
    its worth.

    Year A/83
    MoT 9 months
    Tax 9 months
    Mileage 10,800
    Location E. Herts

Still has original tool kit. Original colours but the frame has been
re-sprayed and the chrome mirrors have been painted black as they were a
bit tatty. Usually starts first go and sounds healthy enough. Has
previous MoT certificate and some other items of documentation.

  2. That'll be the monoshock thing, probably in red, possibly white, right?

    It's a road-legal 125 dirt bike, and eligible for classic insurance. 500
quid all day long. Possibly 600 if it's really nice.

Did they do an XL125 in a monoshock version? My younger brothers one
definately wasn't, and I wouldn't agree with the price either, but
    there y'go.

Doing a quick Google for an XL125 now brings up lots of XL's called
    Varadero's. Yuk.

    SP says...
XL125R. It was the learner legal restricted version from around that
    era.

  8. This one could be that, or could be one of the last of the lay-down twin
    shockers.
