I must admit that when I'm riding enthusiastically, braking hard before
dropping into a corner, I'm surprised how many times the rear wheel's
ABS pings in just a little bit. A lot less now I've rebuild and up rated
the front forks though.

 

it's true. However, in the particular incident in question, another
thing that would have "saved me from binning it" would have not to
have been riding like a total ****, in the wet, in very heavy traffic
in Acton.

 

Yeah.... I'll buy a new one soon. Ish. Honest. But as this one is so
clapped out, I might as well shag it out completely over the winter. I
can't see I'll be doing much serious fast distance stuff on the Duke
before next spring.
