Ah, you weren't sitting at our table at BOSM then, when Donald had me
pacing him with the wine - except my pacing on the first bottle was a
bit quick and I keeled over around half ten that night.

 

The weather improved with every northward mile[1] on the way home.

Left yesterday after lunch, stopped overnight in Tours, then arrived
90 minutes early for our Eurotunnel train.

Held up for 15 minutes by a broken down vehicle in the Blackwall
tunnel.

I believe I saw more vehicles between the Eurotunnel and home, than I
had in the previous 646 miles.

[1] GPS measured, as the speedo cable gave up the ghost on 161,321 km.
Or, just south of Bordeaux on Sunday afternoon.
