    And this is utter bollocks unless you factor in the speed of the
    vehicles. Two seconds at walking pace? Two seconds at 120mph?

    Ho hum. I've been forced to point out the twinkies again. And I promised

  5. In uk.rec.motorcycles, Cab belched forth and ejected the following:
    It's a quote TOG made in another place but you wouldn't know that
    because the gimmer neglected to furnish the quote with quotes or indeed,
    give a reference to its original whereabouts ;-)
    That's a poor example of what a quote looks like ;-)

  6. It's the only way when you've publicly made an arse of yourself :)

    Prevaricating, trying to say: "What I meant was...", changing the
    subject, and generally avoiding the issue simply sets you up as a
    wonderful target.

    Who's the poster here that packer's been popping at, for claiming to
    have worked on Honda CB750s at age 12 or summat? Classic example.
