    Nice long one.

Dragged the R100 out this morning, took a run to Aberaeron for fish and
chips. Via the Aberystwyth Mountain Road / Elan Valley.

Around 190 miles and 6 hours we were out.

I am mostly feeling absolutely knackered now.

    Pfft.

Averaging the ton is where it's at.

Not for all the 400 miles, but a good chunk of the wrong side of the
    road stuff.

Would be nice to be able to do those kind of speeds.

Roads like this bring the average down quite a lot:

  4. Inlaws coming tomorrow. I have to do a bit of fettling to the Honda and
then I have the whole afternoon on a fully road legal RD to look forward
to. Any suggestions for a ride out within a couple of hours of Brum,
preferably to see "something"? Unfortunately xh558 is under wraps for
    servicing.

Ben - take note, you will appreciate *any* bike time :)

Something around the Kidderminster - Ludlow road, as I recall.

Something around the Kidderminster to Ludlow road should be good.

Avoid Harley Bank, 80 tons of rockslide closed it last week

That's a slight overlap with our saturday route.

It got a bit chilly by the Elan Valley though
