Some people on here think it is... They're easy to spot because they
constantly say that it isn't (TINQ).

It just means that this is the totality of their existence, so cut them some
slack. To them, this IS their world.

Not at all, and of course you are right, it's only a newsgroup.

When I first came across it I made exactly the same mistakes as our friend,
and got flamed to **** which didn't really add to my enjoyment of the group,
or allow me to get the best out of it.

Having lurked for a while I worked out what the score was and "got on board"
so to speak.

Posting in accordance with the accepted norms and protocols of the group
makes a lot more sense, as does getting ones head fully around what it's all
about before jumping in with both feet and making a bit of a twat of
oneself.

But there you go, do what the **** you like, I really couldn't care less,
it's only a newsgroup.
