On a pda? So I won't go on about how my Ipaq syncs beautifully with
Outlook meaning I can keep all my email, contact, tasks and calendar,
as well as documents consistent between the pda and two computers
    without batting an eyelid?

No I can sync my palm IIIx with notes, but it's a bit shit really, so
    I've stopped bothering.
Go on all you like, I'm actually going off electronic calendaring as it
allows people to book meetings without phoning up first.

Use the Decline button. It's great.

Oh I do, frequently.. usually because I'm double booked by people who
don't have visibility of my calendar (don't ask).

I don't use it for work. Mine is purely personal.

At work we are advised to hide our calendars. FFS, as if our
competitors give a shit where I am and what I am doing. Not putting
confidential info in an entry I can understand (eg emailing meeting
agendas in a separate email or even by hand).

Mostly the same here so I can avoid work interfering with my social
    life.

I think someone at work is about to get a re-training stint, following
the invitation to an "outsourcing" meeting that included preliminary
thoughts and recommendations in the meeting description.

I also imagine my immediate manager is likely to be asked to restrict
    access to his calendar.

    Possibly.

    Top Tip#4857364

Clone instances of TaskPlus and add them to the today screen. Then
set each one to display a different category of task and title it with
the category. Then you get individual task lists for each category
rather than them being all mixed together.

Na, I've only mentioned it in passing so far.
If I left it to Anya, we'd be getting married in 10 years rather than
    next year.
    heh.
