Just the once, and it's waiting in my basket at amazon.com for my
modestly-priced test item to make it here without the interference of
the censorious Qatari postal service. I don't *think* that they can
    mess with the APO...

I find I don't like modern cinemas very much at all - too sanitised, too

Now the old Palace fleapit in High Wycombe, what an interesting
establishment that was, atmosphere of decay, damp macs and seediness,

Personally I like the odd way the sequence of events runs, it's the only
film I can honestly say I enjoy watching again.

Don't get me wrong, the odd sequence adds to the film's appeal (for me
anyway), and I must have watched it over 50 times.
If I were able to cut n shut the film it'd prolly not have that
rewatchability (is there such a word).

I'm with you on the loud front, but what's wrong with comfy chairs,
loads of space, somewhere to put your beer (and the fact that you can
have a beer) and no chewing gum on the seats?

I bet those cunts won't deliver to an APO address.

And, frankly, I'd rather buy it from an American site, given the
    exchange rate.

Play will let you pay in US or Canadian dollars, Euros, or Sterling.
Unfortunately, only for R1 titles, and "Good Bye Lenin" wasn't release
in the states, so you're kinda fucked.

Actually, that was a little melodramatic. It's fairly pos, on the
    whole.

I guess if I give em a few more years I will be able to re-enjoy my cinema
experiences of yore, as by then my failing hearing will mean I can't hear
anything, and several generations of scrotes will have left their indelible
mark the upholstery and fittings. As for drinking beer in the cinema,
that's just plain wrong, unless it's from a can of Watneys cleverly
concealed in a brown paper bag.
