    eh?

I was implying that the original poster was a silly kid.

Why does that seem to upset you?

You haven't noticed that schools possess IT equipment and teach IT these
    days ?

You should - you were a regular in the period when the event took
place. Suffice to say it involved a Bear and a very drunk Mat Tab at
    my house.

Yeah, the illiterate thing was a joke, but most people I know involved
directly in production of software do certainly have social 'quirks'.

it doesn't upset me in the slightest - I just couldn't work out what
you meant; the usual accusation is that "I see it's half term again"
implying that someone is still at school, but is able to post to
    Usenet during the daytime.

I had a dreadful "awakening" moment last Friday - I suddenly realised
I was part of a group of 8 or so 20/30-something IT professionals
sitting in a pub, drinking ale and talking about which Star Trek
    series was "best".

I excused myself, and went back to the office.

heh. It does look that way, doesn't it.

I suspect that Agent had committed one of it's little foibles, where
it drops some new posts in completely the wrong thread. It always
    tidies itself up, somehow.

Or maybe I just fucked up.
