The monthly meeting of the DFW Chapter is scheduled for 7:00 PM, Wednesday ... March 9th.. The meeting will be held in the VFW meeting hall at 300 Smith St. in Dallas.. Certainly.. the main topics of discussion will be the upcoming breakfast with legislators in the Capitol cafeteria on 21st of March.. I'm understanding that our Bills which we've supported and endorsed will be coming out of committee, in Austin.. Our work there is just beginning and we should expect to be calling for the support as those Bills come to the floor for votes.. This Chapter meeting, coming on the heels of a very successful fish fry, should be very informative.. The turnout for the fish fry was impressive.. Many of the area clubs came to enjoy the fellowship and good food.. The live band was entertaining and the chairman himself gave us all a good little talk.. The informality of a social gathering such as this, is sometimes needed to break ice and bring us all together.. Based on the turnout, I'd sure give this one high marks and look forward to the next gathering of this kind.. Lot's of bikes.. lot's of bikers and lot's of good fun, for all..
