Here's a big one coming up on the 13th of November.. TMRA II District
Advisors from all over Texas will be gathering in Elgin, at the TMRA II
office.. Here's the opportunity to get in the saddle and ride.. for a good
reason.. The address is 275 Old Lexington Rd. Elgin.. Might want to check
that out on the Webpage, just to be certain.. There are some maps there to
    give us more specific directions..

The chairman will be hosting the meeting and there is much to be discussed
... As usual, Sputnik does an excellent job and this one should be
    informative and interesting..

The upcoming legislative session will surely be on the agenda as well as the
strategies of the agendas to be pursued in the new year.. Bikers all over
Texas are invited.. whether you are a member or not.. This is an excellent
chance to speak your mind, be heard and respected.. If you listen
carefully, you might even learn something.. LOL..

Alright.. Let's turn out and show support for the organization that works
for all of us, not just a select few..

Straight down IH 35 south, take the first Taylor exit just out of
Temple..Instructions are posted on the TMRA II website and even a couple of
    maps.. It's a good ride..

    Bill -

He asked what the best way to get there was. Not "what is the
most boring way to get there."

You cruiser guys crack me up.

    ;-)

hRm.... it's the same one at the Legion on 820, right?

Something tells me that Bling! probably can't make it. I'll try to
make it. Are you going to be there or can you not ride, yet?

ALL RIGHT... Sure good to hear that you and the IceMan will be on hand..
Should be a very interesting meetup, due to the pending bills that are going
to be proposed for the legislative session in January..

I haven't been up to going through all of them, yet.. very few, as a matter
of fact.. but with all the corporate lobbyists and this election, our
capitol should be like an ant hill..

Hopefully.. our bikers will turn out in record numbers.. No one seems to
realize how important and critical, these legislative sessions really are..
The business that is being practiced during these sessions, affect all of us
in our lives, every day.. After the legislation is passed and made into law,
it is virtually impossible to do anything about it..

People only become aware, after some obscure legislation directly affects
them.. Then .. the ordinary reaction is "How did this insanity become a
law, and I didn't know about it".. Too late..

Too few of us are trying to pay attention to our government and provide the
representation to fellow Texans.. Many of the political representatives that
we elect are failing their constituents in that regard and not making them
aware of the legislation they are voting into law.. Many of those same
representatives are being supported by the corporations that are favored by
    those laws..

Our visibility during that session, at least makes those corrupt
representatives and their corporate sponsors, know that their lack of
responsibility is being observed and noted..

See all of you on Saturday..

That's probably the way I'll come back. I haven't decided yet which
route I'll take getting there though. I guess I'll see Saturday
morning when I'm knocking the ice off the bike and crawling onto a
cold machine to hit the cold ass highway.

Gee, I make it sound so lovely!!!

    Are you planning on going?

Looks like I am heading to the lake this weekend. The boat needs to
be winterized. I'm hoping it's not too late considering it will be
    fairly cold Thurs. morning.

I sure would hate to have a cracked block.

Well I didn't make it. I planned on making it. I was going to be
    there.

I had a quick meeting before the TMRAII meeting and that took longer
than I thought. Then, to top it all off.....I still might have made
it, but I now had a 200+ lbs foosball table in the back of my truck.
    :)

I hadn't planned on buying it on the spot, but it worked out that way
and then my plans to hit the meeting were shot.

to the west, jog over to 281 and stop in Hico for pie. work your way
to Waco via just about any FM road. much less commercial traffic that way.

to the east, jog over to 308, 31, or 14 and work your way back to Waco
(again via just about any fm road).

avoid i35 like the plague due to construction, congestion, and
commerical traffic. Often 281 is faster to san antonio than i35 for
all those reasons. Using these roads for the short ride to Waco may
take longer but will be more satisfying.

    Excuses.. excuses... CANDY ASS... LOL...

Ah well.. told you .."you may grow up to be like me if you just keep
    trying".. didn't I ?

I didn't make it, either Fullstate.. Just jerking your chain.. I haven't
talked to anyone about the meeting, last night.. but, I'm sure it was a real
hot potato.. Dammit.. You can sure bet, that if there had been any way at
    all, I'd have been there..

There is some doubt about whether or not I will be able to make the District
Advisors meeting in Elgin, saturday.. I'm damn sure working on it and am
going to be fit to be tied if I can't go.. LOL..

The old warhorse is about to kick the slats off this barn and do a runaway..
    soon..

This is true, but I plan on being much more ornery and less liberal.
    :)
Well shit, Bill what IS keeping you down for so long? I usually get
hung up out of town, but rarely am I sick for this long.
Better hurry, looks I may be shipped off for a while.
