TMRA II .. DFW Chapter Meeting

The meeting will be taking place at the VFW Hall at 300 Smith St. in
Dallas.. Start time is 7:00 PM, Wednesday.. May 11.. As usual . Elmer
McKeeghan will be chairing and this one should really be a doozy.. Sen.
Lautenburg (sp) dropped a bombshell on us all, with his announcement of the
amendment tied to one of the transportation funding Bills.. whew.. that
sucker took the air out of a lot of people's sails..

I learned that we'd lost another Legislative Warrior during the past few
days.. State Representative Joe Moreno lost his life in a fatal crash
somewhere around Nashville, Tenn.. Rep.Moreno represents one of the Houston
districts and has been very active with helping TMRA II in the
legislature..I'm given to understand that Joe Moreno had recently bought a
new Harley and was expecting delivery soon.. Even though, I wasn't amongst
his closest friends, I'd met Joe Moreno on several occasions and respect him
very much.. He is going to be missed ..

Anyone attending the Chapter meeting tomorrow night should realize an up
close and personal bird's eye view of what is going on in our Capitol during
this most contentious Session.. Updates and status of our Bills will surely
discussed at length . Since these meetings are open to anyone, membership is
not required.. it might be interesting for everyone to take a look and find
out what is happening in our Biker World, these days.. See you all .

Varies.. 2 - 250.. depends on the issues, weather and a lot of other
factors..

There is a website .. I don't truthfully don't have any idea.. The state
office is in Elgin, Tx.. just outside of Austin.. The secretary of TMRA 2
would be the one to ask that question to.. don't you think ?

 

Uh, not quite -

Joe Moreno died in a crash near LaGrange, Texas when he apparently
drove his pickup off the road, into a ditch around 2 AM. He flipped
end-over end several times, according to DPS.

If someone besides yourself made such a reporting error, no doubt you
would pile on abuse, ridicule and scorn for the mis-statement.

Also Mr. Moreno was quite obese - or "fat" as you so derisiviely (and
constantly) criticize others. How is it you respect and mourn the
passing of a fatso?

Please explain this double standard.
