Whew.. that dude was something else again.. One of the brothers on rmh was
killed last year.. When he was posting some of his bullshit on that
newsgroup, he made some comments about the bro not wearing a helmet..
sheesh... that was just one incident of his idiotic rants on usenet.. I
believe that was one of the few times that I've seen Waco go ballistic..
    Regards, Tony D..

There's no "supposedly" about it. I know my limits and that several of
the guys I ride with have more skill at pushing a bike to its limits
the I do. I wasn't saying I was better then someone else or boasting
about my skill. I know that there are others out there that are more
skillful then I am and I keep my riding to things that are in my range
    of skills.

Sorry, I took your comment about it being "detailed like a Heritage"
to mean the details of the bike made it look just like a Heritage and
that was why you bought it. But if I read this last part correctly you
were talking about accessories (details) you added to the bike later
that are similar to items that were on a Heritage.

Anyhow, my point was if a bike is mainly styled after a Harley it is
to be expected for people to mistake it as a one. Especially if it is
a newer Vulcan as I think that's Kawasaki's main competitor for the
Harley market. Same thing goes for a newer Shadow. IIRC the first
Vulcans had shaft drive but don't they now have belt drives to imitate
the Harleys? The front end reminds me of a RoadKing while the rear
suspension is a copy of a Softail. They might not be a perfect copy
but when you have a bike that is styled along the same lines as a
Harley it is easy for people to make that mistake due to not paying
attention to all the details, not ignorance. I don't know what year
your Vulcan is so I can't say how close it is to being a Harley copy.
If it is an older version Vulcan then yes, I would say anyone calling
it a Harley would need to get their eyes examined. <g> But a newer
version Vulcan is very easy to mistake as a Harley and that's just
    what Kawasaki wants.

horseshit. you're showing your ass again Bill. You have no idea what

Bill has no idea who EKIII is.

Yeah, but EKIII's accident was years ago and he wasn't killed. I know
we lost some other rmh people over the last year or so, Joe Mama for
one. IIRC he died in a single bike accident but I don't remember if he
had a helmet on or not.

He said that EKIII was just another jerk that went down without a helmet,
    paraphrased.

I read your post. Seems like a very nice trip. I've never been to Iceland.
What kind of riding season do they have?

    Wakko, Aug 13, 2005
  9. you are absolutely correct, that's exactly my point. it wasn't about
JoeMama (adjust your foil in respect please) nor anyone else who died as
Bill so cluelessly claims. texdays was wanking on about Eddie wearing a
beanie and so he deserved what happened because it wasn't proper
headgear. needless to say that didn't fly very well in the VB&G.

JoeMama and EKIII ride with me.

  10. don't get all worked up, patty. you're showing your own ignorance of
the situation, especially as regards EKIII's accident. Cali is a helmet
state, even texdays knew it, that's why he was blaming EKIII for wearing
the half helmet at the time of the accident. bad mistake by texdays to
go against one of the long time themes of rmh.
take a midol and relax sissy. i'm one of many EKIII patcholders who've
helped support Eddie for real and certainly didn't defend texdays when
he showed his ass like your daddy just did.

you're upset because daddy was shown not to know what he was talking
about again. geez, you should be used to that by now. BTW, Eddie is
not dead as your daddy claimed, nor did his accident happen last year,
as your daddy claimed. your daddy showed very well that he doesn't have
a clue about any of that but it doesn't stop him from talking out his
    ass.

    another viewer, Aug 13, 2005
  11. Correction: texdays did say EKIII wasn't wearing a helmet at all as
opposed to wearing the beanie. after a few years the memory grows foggy
remembering every flamefest, but I have no problem correcting a mistake
in a post. the rest stands.

I was not a party to the discussion and haven't been a participant in rmh..
I have my own reasons for disliking Texdays and you.. Neither of you two
amount to a puddle of piss ..

I didn't name anyone in my response to Tony D.. As far as I'm concerned,
you and Texdays are in the same category .. hmmm.. Matter of fact, you are
even a lower life than Texdays..

Thanks for the clarification, actually had another friend from RMH who died
last year (not JM) and I thought ole Tex perhaps said some shit about him.

Wow Brian, another great attempt at distorting what I said in my original
post, changing the topic, and putting words in my mouth, lol. Please go
back and read my original post. I stand behind every word I said there. I've
offered you the sorce for my words, and you've refused to go look, that's
    your loss, not mine.
I don't blame you Brian, if I were trying to defend the position you're
taking on this matter ( that would be the 'liar, liar pants on fire'
position I mentioned in my other post), I wouldn't want to to have the
facts of the matter stareing me in the face either, lol.
I have nothing to prove Brian, I personally don't care whether you
believe me or not. As a matter of fact, you and your father have responded
to my original post exactlly as I had thought you would. If you notice my
original post wasn't even addressed to you, or your dad. I've offered to
show anyone interested enough in the facts behind my original post, where to
find them. If you choose not to, I could care less.

Oh, and I will STFU (on this matter), when you and your dad stop
responding with your blustering, name calling, topic changes,
mis-representations of my original post, and putting words in my mouth. Fair
enough? Heck, I'll even take back the part about the 'blustering and name
calling'. That would be too much to ask for. Just stop with the topic
changes, mis-representations, and putting words in my mouth, and you won't
hear another word out of me, on 'this' topic. How's that?

Have a great weekend, I hope your trip goes well, and everyone has a fun
    and safe ride.

    Regards,

    Vic

you thought it was "some bro in rmh who died last year" when it was
    texdays bashing EKIII, you dolt.
