    Anyone looling for a TL1000s.
    Currently sorn
    No MOT
Basically my mate left it when he emigrated to OZ last year.
I did intend to sort it out but can't seem to get the time.
Its a 97 with 26000 miles on it.
    New clutch
    Good rubber
All plastics are good never been dropped.
Its basically a solid bike that was ridden a lot
When i gave it a look over all i could find that it needed done was new fork
    seals. (i have seals)
Clutch cable was pretty stiff new one supplied.
Not been started since last October but i gave it an oil change before
    laying it up.
    Started 1st time no probs.

Anyone know of anyone who's looking for one of these.

    Sensible offers only thanks

I think I'm your newsgroup equivalent of a tyre kicker right now, but I do
like the TL1000S. Unfortunately, I also live in Greece (and am not "flush"
either) so the chances of me buying it are less than... just think of
    something really, really improbable.

Aaaaaanyhow, I just checked eBay in case I could get an idea about how much
one of those would fetch and found this:
    http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/suzuki-tl-100...3286.c0.m14&_trkparms=66:2|65:7|39:1|240:1318

So, how much would a sensible offer be, given I'd not ride that pile of crap
if I got paid, let alone fork out at least 1.65K

    ****, that's horrible.

I think the tail is so high to fit that huge numberplate underneath
    it.

I like the TL1000's too, I think it's the widowmaker reputation they
    have.

Unfortunately every one i've wanted to ride has been lobbed before I
    got the opportunity ;)

Umm, showing ignorance here, WHY would someone mod' their TL1000 this
way? Or is it "because I can" ?

    Target fixation.

"Underseat exhausts look cool, I must have an underseat exhaust".

Photoshopped. The back end is all wrong.

I think we should all chip in & buy that, just so we can pound it into
    a million pieces.

I can understand that, but what's with having the arse end stuck up in
the air? Some kind of evolutionary regression thing?

Suggest he just used an already existing exhaust
designed for a different bike and just cludged all
the rest, sub-frame etc, to fit.

    It's reminiscent of the BlaneyDnC-mobile.

That was also destructed gradually by its respective owners.

    The very same
I saw it in its later years, and it was fucking horrible.

Agreed ... just WHY would anyone consider that tail end to be an attractive
    feature?
