I'm after a titanium ring for my wedding ring... The jeweller[1] I was
planning on buying from can't supply the one I was going to get now, so
can anyone recommend somewhere else? I remember some people discussing
this on here a bit ago (and I google for it) but nobody actually
    mentioned suppliers.

I'm after a plain unpolished ti "court" style band around 4mm wide.
Nothing fancy and budget is around the 100 notes mark.

I got one from this lot, IIRC they can do custom jobs as well.

  3. Andy has a titanium one.

most of the major jewelers these days do them, we just wandered round
milton keynes shopping centre til we found one that fitted.

Mine's titanium, inlaid with two silver bands.

The company that made it (Ti2) supply lots of different jewellers,
mostly independent ones rather than big chains (pun not intended).

I think their website (probably http://www.ti2.com/ but I can't check at
the moment) just shows some examples, not their full product list, but
if you contact them they should be able to tell you their nearest
supplier, who can show you a catalogue.

For plain bands that sounds quite expensive actually.

Thanks to all for your suggestions, Eddie is winning the prize at the
    moment.

Ti2 do a 6mm wide court band for 85 quid, made to order. Spot on.

I'm sorry but it seems like complete bollocks. Way over the top for the
    material.

  11. Someone was selling a titanium hip joint on eBay for £3, if it's still
running you might be able to make a ring out of that.

Ive got a Boccia Ti ring to replace an 18ct gold band that could no longer
be made bigger with out adding a section.
    not overly expensive, but nice.

Jewellery is never just the cost of the material though, is it?

A gold band ring costing 150 quid doesn't have 150 quids worth of gold
    in it.

Even in a plain band, there's some moderately skilled labour in it.
