The mags are making a big fuss over the new Qualifiers. You really need
to state purpose before anyone can suggest. Will there be track days?
Lots of wet? Do you care about mileage?

  3. Wet, some high speed, mostly touring, few back roads.

I second DR's experience. Mediocre ride and only about 8K everyday/touring
miles and they were done. I usually get at least 10 or 12K on Michelins or
    Metzlers

Unless you've had a problem with the Avons, I'd stay with them. IME (one
set of AV54/6) is that they stick pretty well, will give about as much
grip as my bike ('94 VFR750) will take on the road, and wear well with
my riding style. You can't just pop into a shop and buy one if you need
a fast replacement, but that's about the only downside that I've
    encountered so far. fwiw.

'indiana' is a 'nolnn' and 'hoosier' is a 'solkk'. Indiana doesn't solkk.
