I'm renting a bike in London this weekend. Any driving tips for people who
normally drive on the starboard side of the road? I'm already familiar with
    the most important three:
    - look right
    - look right
    - look right
I would love to survive my first clockwise rotary.

If you survive riding a bike in London, roundabouts will be a piece of piss.

The thing that'll catch you is when you think you've got it cracked, and you
pull over for petrol(gas). You'll go back onto the road, and go straight
    onto the wrong side.

    Be careful out there.

Then, when you realise you've just put thirty dollars' worth of gas in
the tank, you'll probably need medical assistance.

Heh, The Zephyr takes £13.00GBP to fill up, and the car takes £55.00GBP.

Rip off Britain, as the tabloids like to say.

I'm no riding god by any strecth of the imagination, but I do ride into and
round London pretty often. I'd upgrade that to look *everywhere*
I doubt it'll be that much of an issue, unless you're in the habit of
driving towards traffic on 'rotaries' ;) Most of them will have plenty of
traffic on them so the flow will be obvious.

The very best of luck to you BTW.

  9. The Trophy costs £21 or more for a proper fill-up, which isn't far
removed from what The Doctor spends on filling her Micra.

A few laps of Hyde Park Corner -> Park Lane -> Marble Arch and back
should do the trick. Rush hour would be ideal.
