    Hi all

I wont get the chance to sit my bike test until March, what is the
considered wisdom regarding bike prices, will they start going up after then
or should I buy one now while the weathers fucking atrocious?
I'm looking for a Honda CB500 of which there are a few in my local bike
shops at my price bracket (£1800), will they get scarce later on?

I have cash so how much will the dealers discount?
Not too bothered about a test drive as I will be buying from a dealer and
the bike will come with some waranty, and a local farmer will let me test
drive the bike on the old runway on his land so if the bike's shagged I'll
be able to tell, (hopefully) and take it back to the dealer and get it
    fixed/money back.

I bought a CB500 after passing my test.

It was a superb first bike.

I rode one as a loan bike once, they're almost like a really big CG125.
:) Soft, forgiving and fun to ride.

  17. Does the "apres" shot depict a load of splintered metal and fibreglass?

  18. They're incredibly popular. They're all over the place, and they're
tough, fast, reliable, economical - really very, very good bikes.
    At the moment, loads.

Er, no, you won't, not if you're as much of a newbie as this posting
    suggests.
Any decent dealer won't sell you a nadgered 500 anyway.
