    JackH emerged from their own little world to say
    AFAIK a bike is assigned an insurance group plus a risk loading based on
    the size and number of claims for that model. I doubt they bother to refine
    the premium algorithm for FC or TP.

    This is how I've rationalized different premiums quoted for vehicles in
    allegedly the same insurance group.

    BTW, looking for an explanation of this led me to an online rhyming
    slang dictionary, wherein I found "Listerine". A "Listerine" is a
    hater of Americans - 'cos they are an 'Anti-Septic', see?

    Why go for the more expensive option? When I was busy trying to get
    cover for the 10R I was told by 3 different brokers that the tpf&t
    quote was higher than the fc. It must be an old age thing.
