I'm going to have a close look at a 750 Shadow next week, I hope.

I waited 'til he came back from a lap of the island, which was a lond
way from the 'just 5 minutes' he actually asked for.

And Stritchy's Pan - from England's Rose, at the end of a 'FOT. He'd
arrived pillion with Sniper and knew Sniper wanted to be on the road -
but still disappeared and didn't return for 45 minutes. Caahnt.

But I would walk 500 miles
And I would walk 500 more
Just to be the man who walked 1000 miles
To fall down at your door

Yes, that was kind of the point I was making.

I take it you've met Ginge then... ;-)

They were Jocks. Or was that a 'whoosh'?

Were? They still are... new album out recently, too... which I would not
    walk 500 miles for.

In the case to which I refer, 'twas Suze's 400. Others seem to have
posted their own experiences. The little shite.

Despite it being in a tent full of jocks, in the middle of a swamp,
surrounded by vegan holistic mumbo-jumbo, they were the best live
band I've seen all year. Which surprised me as much as anyone.

    They really are rather good.

Bike insurance is in one of its cycles, right now. Competition is
driving down premiums, like it did in the mid-1980s (when,
coincidentally, there was also a recession in the bike biz).

Inscos are reckoning they can cream off some business. Rates will
continue to fall, into inscos realise they've hoovered up a shedload of
risk, and then they'll climb again.[/QUOTE]

Some of them are getting a bit stroppy about the latest generation of
sportsbikes. I had a right bastard of a time changing mine from a 9R
to a 10R. Somebody mentioned power to weight ratios being quoted as a
reason for refusing to cover the latest bikes but it wasn't an
'official' policy so I'll not say who told me about it.

You might consider the fact that as far as underwriters are concerned
an old blade with a maximum value (payout) of about £2-2.5k isn't
really that big a deal. One 45mph lowside and the bike's going to be
written off whereas when it was only a year old they might have had
two £5k claims in a year to deal with inside a 12 month period.

What amazing co-incidence that those two *utter cunts* got roomed
    together. Really amazing.

Insurance starts off really high for the young, then it goes down and
down as you get older and then suddenly shoots up to a very high
premium as you pass that Certain Age.
