That's good, and even if it doesn't pass you'll eventually get used to it
playing up from time to time...
Good on yer. Long may it stay that way.

Glad to hear it (the not dead bit)

Hope it wasn't the effort of carrying the 17" monitor or trying to get it
into the back of the car.

Perhaps it was the shock of seeing all the p0rn "in living colour" again....

Diabetes, Steve. AIUI, Diabetes Mellitus Type 1 is usually found early
in life; for whatever reason the sufferer produces insufficient (if any)
insulin and cannot naturally take excess glucose out of the blood stream
for storage (that's what insulin does), and excess blood glucose is a
Bad Thing. Type 2 is often related to age or obesity, where the
sufferer becomes resistant to the effects of their own insulin -
possibly as a result of overdoing things somewhat (like drinking in
excess of 2 litres of full-fat Coca-Cola *per day* perhaps - I should
have bought shares); either form (or a tendency thereto) can be
inherited. Type 1 is almost always treated by use of insulin injections
and careful monitoring of food intake; this can be used to deal with
type 2, depending on the severity (among other factors). There are
drugs (Metformin?) which can help too. In my case I simply leave out
high-carb foods and processed sugars where possible, and ensure I get a
    certain amount of exercise.

Somehow I didn't get Monz's original post; maybe I need to get a better
news server than Pipex's own. Anyway, I digress; my doc recommended I
take the 75mg Aspirin tabs as I am diabetic, and therefore at increased
risk of a great many bad things if I don't look after myself properly,
which I probably don't (but at least I'm better than I used to be, being
diagnosed as type 2 diabetic at 32 y/o was something of a wake-up call).
TIA's are definitely one of the things of which diabetics have an
    increased risk.

I've been taking an asprin a day for the past 20 years and I'm not dead
yet. Given my habits, I think that's proof positive of something.
