    dwb says...
You take a run up to the biggest/hardest looking and headbutt the ****
between the eyes with your helmet on, his mates will run off in all
directions very very quickly. It doesn't matter if he never threw
    anything, he's guilty by association.

I remember that they used to take on a lot of s/h and new Plod bikes
[1]. A lot of their fleet were Plod bikes.
Jeez, tell me about it. In fact, some used to come out in a worse state
    than when they went in...

    [1] Surplus to requirements apparently.

  4. Yup, including all the 04 reg ones they took delivery of last year[1].
Rumour has it that plod didn't want them because there was a weave on
them that couldn't be ridden through or cured. My last one weaved like a
fucker and that was one of the old ones!
Well, when I went in to have a "service" done, another bod came in, his
steering was *fucked*, I mean it didn't just have side to side movement
as you'd expect up up and down movement as well, I mean about an inch of
movement at least in all directions. He'd started that day and they'd
sent him out on it - From the workshop!

Apart from being charged for parts I didn't need and having second hand
parts put on that came from dead bikes, I remember needing a new front
tyre. They didn't have any new ones so put a front wheel on from another
bike with a partly worn one. I don't know WTF was wrong with it but the
wobble was fucking horrendous and the weave it had at around 60-70mph
iirc, was *the* worst I have ever experienced on a bike.
    See above.

[1] The ones with all the chromy bits and panniers on[2]
[2] That were too fucking small to do anything with so they stuck the
    Givis back on.

Makes perfect sense to me. The only trick involved is to spot which one is
actually the 'leader' as opposed to the following muscle. Although taking
out the muscle can often have the desired effect as well

"If you decide to fire, FIRE AT THE DRIVER, NOT THE CAR. Obvious in
retrospect, make sure you decide to fire at the driver before you engage to
avoid time-consuming, and therefore dangerous, mistakes.

Once you hit the driver, get away from the car! The car could go ANYWHERE at
that point, and the farther you move away from it, the less likely it is to
    accidentally hit you."

The idea of riding around shooting at trees has a certain appeal though.

Not very environmentally friendly. More so, if the tree falls over on
you, 'cos it's been cut up with thousands of rounds.
Yeahbut if it's reinforced glass, a .22 will bounce off. Better to go
for an RPG. Mind you, that's a little more obvious and the cage driver
    will **** off pretty sharpish.
Well, this is ukrm. Wasn't there a film with that burd from Baywatch
riding around on a triumph fitted with canons?
