    After :

    "The power of dreams !"

    Here comes :

"Roll your way to obesity and heart failure !"

    Technically brilliant though.

So, a hands-free Segway, that only does 4mph.

And a ginger one at that.

I hear that Ural sell a motorcycle combination that creates a very
realistic walking experience in almost 99% of outings.

So, basically, it's a Segway that can go sideways as well?

And also saves you from even having to use the basic muscle groups
    required to stand up?

  12. Yeah, but like a lot of things the first use of the technology is
often fairly useless (ie fibre optic, oooh isn't that a pretty lamp)
but this one intrigues me as to where it might progress.

  14. I saw a guy on a segway in Bali hooning down the main street in Kuta against
the one way traffic flow. He hit a slippery manhole cover, did a 360 and
binned it in a big way. I thought it was one of the funniest things I have
ever seen, mainly because he was unhurt.

  15. It seems rather simple to me.

2 motors which do forwards and backwards when turning together, and
side to side when turning against each other. Bung on a couple of
gyros and mixed (1) speed controllers and bingo.

    Be interesting to CIHAGM on.

    (1) like elevon mixing on an RC plane.

My current Ural provides a very realistic pushing experience. I have
gotten mediaeval on its arse and it has responded by turning in a very
mediaeval performance, including trials by fire, breaking on the
wheel, and petrolboarding. So far, it hasn't managed to seize a brake
caliper, but it's only a matter of time.

I see it creating a very realistic ebaying experience in the near
    future.

    patented the word, apparently
