throttle response on a recently serviced NC30

  1. Hi peeps,

Just had the NC30 serviced. Major service - inc. new plugs & carb
balance (& fork oil, steering bearings, swingarm regrease and the
    like. F-f-five hundred nicker!)

Before the service it was occaisionally "stuttering" above about 9k on
extended high rev runs. Very occaisionally it'd loose all hope of
increasing revs on full throttle. I thought new plugs and carb balance
    should sort this out.

It has, but... now if I roll off the throttle above 10k and go back to
full throttle there's a quarter of a second delay to the throttle
    response.

Also, I asked for NGKER10EH plugs, but he's fitted the standard
NGKER9EH plugs. Could this be the problem? (In any event I'll be
"having a go" about this one as it's in Mr. Haynes' manual as well as
    on t'internet.)

    Any other thoughts?

    TYVM,

(Angus Spangle) somehow managed to post:

Adjusting the plug gap to about 2 spanners should do the trick.
