I've never held on to a totally fucked sprocket - indeed, I can't
remember ever having had one. Seen them, yes. (In the early '60s I was a
motorcycle mechanic in a shop where we saw mainly SOBs. On customers'
bikes, aprucked fockets were not unknown...)

 

Try it - the same amount pulls off the back of the sprocket - assuming
it's chain wear you've got...

 

They were saying that about fish stocks in the '70s.

a different number of teeth.
