Mine is a K2, but it has K1 bodywork fitted. I would love the
black/blue/silver K2 bodywork on this one if I could find some at the
right price. I'm watching a full set on eBay at the moment. Failng that
I might have all the spare panels that came with it painted all black,
along with the wheels.

Mine's been crashed in the past, it's a well known documented fact. The
difference is mine has been repaired without the use of duct tape.

Akcherly pivot the tank up, there is a spoke under the seat which props
it up, and look at the cable runs. I've a vague memory I changed the
standard runs to suit the flat bars, though everything is working so it
probably doesn't matter.

I'll need to keep an eye open for a decent box to send the
tank/panels/shock etc.

Andy probably hasn't seen my Honda, which is completely covered in duct
tape, but that bike cost me 20 quid. I just can't abide seeing
relatively newish bikes looking like shit when the owners could do
something about them for not a lot of money. I tend to look after what
I paid a lot for, and yes, covering a half decent model of bike with
duct tape does offend my sensibilities.

I wouldn't drive a 4 year old car around with a fucking huge dent in
the side, I'd get it fixed. It's a simple case of looking after what
you own.

Just finished, thank goodness. Two fucks before work; I'm quite
tired.

 

I don't really give a **** what my vehicles look like, as long as
mechanically they are spot on. I'd never spend my own money have
cosmetic damage repaired, but I'd never scrimp on essential work.

 

Out of the K1 - 4 range, porl's is the best colour[1]. I'm not keen on the
blue/white one, so thankfully mine's a mostly "blue/black and very little
white" one.
