Bear says... After riding it back from Belfast via Dublin/Hollyhead today, I have decided it is comfier for me than the 9R. I loved the 9R to bits, but the Gixer raises the game a touch. The engine is a peach and it is easier to ride fast than anything I've ridden for any length of time. This Gixer has AP Lockheed Racing 6 pots on fully floating cast iron discs, and one finger on the lever is like hitting a brick wall. They are stupidly good. Btw, 014s are fucking excellent in the wet.
Using the patented Mavis Beacon "Hunt&Peck" Technique, Lozzo Oh dear. He said "Holyhead" and "fast" in the same paragraph. I *do* hope you were careful, Bond. -- Wicked Uncle Nigel - Manufacturer of the "Champion-105" range of rearsets and Ducati Race Engineer. Excelent, you are following the route I took in 2001. The GSXR1000 is well ahead of the ZX9 in the engine and suspension department.
Sometime around Sun, 08 May 2005 01:44:05 +0100, Lozzo babbled on about: For sure, but what is the bike like?
