Looks impressive, but can't believe the "trunk" wolume capacity.

what do they mean by "trunk", 400 litres?..

that's almost 2 X 44 gallon drums, doesn't seem that much room in the whole
outfit.

 

Yeah - that stuck out for me too. Although I originally read it as 400
litre tank and I'm thinking wtf?

But the whole capacity of the sidecar if it was sealed couldn't be
much more than 400 litres, surely?

A quick google came up with a 465 litre luggage capacity for a
Commodore. And they do mention 400 litre twice on that page. God knows
what is going on there.

 

I think the sidecar has two seats .Must be bigger than it looks

Yes it has two seats, but still doesn't look big enough to hold 400 litres
remember that a 44 gallon oil/petrol drum is 220 litres

OK; I admit I don't know drum standard sizes but 44 imp gallons is 200.02796
litres in the most exact conversion I can manage.

 

A 44 gal drum holds just over 45 gals if you fill it to the bung hole.

 

Don't gallons convert into liters rather than litres ?
