Those who know Harlow

On Tuesday I need to get to Parndon Wood Cemetery which appears to be on
the outskirts of Harlow.

What's the nearest tube/railway station. I'll get a taxi from there to
the Cemetery.

My monitor is still not working so I can't make the map out too well.

 

Harlow town station is on the main line from Liverpool Street. There's
a taxi rank outside.

 

Tube to Epping is probably easier as the BR station at Harlow's on the
other side of the town [1]. Harlow's a hole...

How much in taxi fare is that likely to be?

 

Not a clue. But it's not that far - 3 or 4 miles, maybe? There's a
cab firm outside the tube station, they'll be able to tell you.

Harlow gets pretty snarled up in the rush hour though. The tube
journey's not bad as most of it is not actually underground. 6 of one
and half a dozen of the other probably.
