    Hi Guys,

My current Alpine Stars don't "waterproof" very well in heavy rain,
I've had these boots recommended to me by a friend:

and am considering getting some for the Snowy Ride.

Anyone have any good or bad opinions of these boots?

    Cheers,
    SL.

So, are you trying to wish rain on us for the Snowy Ride? :-(

YES! I hope it pisses down.

Sorry if it ruins you ride, but we need water in the catchments more
than you need a dry road.

Desparado, don't like your chances; I mightn't even bother to take my wet
    weather gear.

Haha no, the opposite. If I go and spend my hard earned cash on
waterproof boots, chances are it wont rain.

Follow the link and click on Boots - should take you to their shopping page
with prices and pictures and a buy now button.
I had the boots in less than 2 days.

You should do precisely that. That way a bit more water in the catchments is
    virtually guaranteed.
