I thought the weather was perfectly acceptible for mid-November - I'm
    still using summer gloves, FFS.

Currently warm and dry in slightly overcast Essex at the moment. A bit
like Madrid actually but 2 degrees cooler although we may be warmer come
    Monday.

In the midlands we have very strong wind with spotting rain.

Quite warm but far from ideal for bikes.

I did. For once, it was quite well put together. It's been a litle
low brow[1] of late, but last night's was a corker.

[1] Like Blue Peter for stupid people.

  7. It's fucking heaving it down here, with gale force winds to boot. Not
cold mind. And anyway, you were supposed to say "Have a great time in
    Spain, Paul".

I thought most of what was said was nonsense, but it was as you say a
    well put together piece.

I wish they'd bring back "Arena".

[1] I spent most of the latter part of the evening in a vain attempt to
find out why I could not see a post to anywhere on usenet after half
past 8, not even on google.

Yes. I get a little fed up with these "we're all doomed" type ideas.
I mean, WTF can be done about it anyway?

I thought last night was the first of a new series.

    Wasn't it "Timewatch" last week?

    Probably.
