This makes no sense to me

Hmm, a pillion passenger with a full licence sitting behind a learner
can be an 'accessory' (legally!) IIRC. Not the same thing though.

According to an older report he was charged with "Aiding and abetting
    death by dangerous driving".

There's even a specific endorsement code for it under aiding and abetting
    - I think it stays the same code but the last number changes.

My first ever license endorsement was for "Aiding and abetting a person to
ride a motorcycle without "L" plates". We were PUSHING the fucking thing (A
Sunbeam 500 outfit) coz it wouldn't start and I was 16 at the time.

I see cuntish laws are still knocking about.

This is (or was at least) the case when I was a motor insurance broker.
I think the last digit became a 2.

The other offence was "causing or permitting", which also changed the
    last digit.

Too much time to think, too little to do.

Obviously he wasn't hung, otherwise he would have been able to control his
    woman...
