thinking of buying a v star

    2002 v-star 650 with a few add ons. low miles
    I will use to commute to work 30 miles one way on US 281
    and maybe some over night rides

    your thoughts please on this bike?????

    Hey Richard,
    V-Stars are low maintenance, stout bikes and depending on your riding style,
    can get 42-54 mpg.
    My hubby and I have been riding ours for years and we love 'em but one thing
    I would do if I were you, is to pull the rearend and make sure the splines
    are well greased. Other than that, no problems.
