    I've earned my car trips in crap weather, I'm fifty-two years old and
    have been riding since 1968. I've ridden plenty of shite bikes in shite
    weather and I've got the broken bones to show for it. If the weather is
    dry and not below freezing then I'm happy to use one of my bikes but I
    don't have to justify myself to you when I take the car instead. So you
    can **** right off :)

    I have stopped for bikers at the side of the road in the past - in
    fact, I almost did a few weeks back on the way to the BOTAFOF start,
    but then I noticed the bike was a black RF900, and carried on, just in
    case.
