Every time I see a Lewis Day courier, I wonder, "could it be him?"

I'd have thought stupid ears are the least of your problems.

What I don't get it, considering that "they're out to get us" why anyone
would actually ADD to the list of reasons why people want to knock us off
    our bikes.

  10. there was a Lewis Day courier lounging over a CB500 parked in my road
    the other week.

I really did wonder if it was you know who.

  11. Bloody hell, you can't compliment newbies, BABs and SOFTies now without
getting lip back. But then SOFTies would say things like that, wouldn't
    they!

Bike's are bosh, PC's are pointless, and the 1990's are nuts!
Bikes are great, PCs are super, and the 1990s are the time to be!
Save the apostrophe! Get 'em right! If in doubt, leave 'em out!!

  13. Nyeagh! From the replies here looks as if most of them are died in the
wool SOFTies and closet Volvo owners.

  15. Miserable sod. Nothing to do with "life style (spit)" just solidarity!
Actually I was complimenting them for learning a bit of friendly
etiquette, not down on them at all. Not a matter of caring at all, just
a simple observation - winter riders almost invariably acknowledge,
SOFTies (Summer Only Fairweather Tufties) etc almost invariably don't.

    Here, here!

I nod at other bikers and I stop if I see other bikers in difficulty by the
    road side.

I'm not living some biker lifestyle I just think that if we let these things
go we'll be no better than car drivers.

You post the same fucking twaddle every year.

How about putting "I ride my bike over the winter" in your sig and
saving the effort of typing the annual post?

I think most of the people criticising your post do ride bikes through
    the winter.

    So what is your point?

I don't, well I do but I take the piss by waving back as frantically as
    I can manage.

Mind you I used to think that waves from other bikers were few and far
between when I was chugging around on the VT but riding The Claret and
Blue Benly has opened up whole new previously unexplored vistas of
aloneness. Fucking stuck up bastards the lot of you.
