These Guys Keep Talkin'

The sun is out, first time in almost a week.. Damn, this is
getting tiresome.. Walked out on the world famous porch
with that cup of Folgers' and damn.. it is still cold as a
witches tit.. whew.. Well, at any rate, maybe there is enough
sun to charge up that solar battery on the Citizens watch..
That sucker has been dead all this time .. I've had to look
at the clock or the VCR if I wanted to know what time it is..

Hell.. it's all froze up in the Meadow Oaks Mobile Home Park.
My Green Vulcan is all covered up and that cover has got
frost all over it.. You know that's way too cold for this old
character to take it out for a ride.. sheesh.. when's the thaw
going to take place..

The talking heads on the networks all say that another front
is on it's way, even before this one moves on out.. Self im-
posed hibernation is one thing, but I'm sure ready for all that
early Spring.. After all, Pawxatawny Phil didn't see his shadow..
did he ?

hmmm.. I got this one friend that is shopping for a GoldWing.
Told me this morning that he'd located a used one at a dealer-
ship in Grapevine.. dammit.. what's he wanna do all that stuff
for, anyway.. That makes two of my old cruiser buddies that
have gone over to the dark side and are now riding Tourers..

Sheesh.. me and the the Green One are becoming dinosaurs
before our time.. And, those guys just keep on talking..
