I like Dans scribbling, but is he too far up his own arse?

 

I suspect it's more that he's maxed out his credit card. Despite the
self-mythologising, I like him, and I'm semi-tempted to buy the book for
charitable reasons.

 

A bit of both, but at least he dropped everything and did it. Without a
support crew too.

Yep, I thought I'd give it a go. I really enjoyed his writing for Bike,
but I'm not sure I can take a whole book of it. Still, there are worse
writers I've spent hard earned wonga on.

 

A chunk of it was in the Sunday Times at the weekend. I'd like to buy
it, but I've read it all before anyway, in Bike.

 

I've met him. He's a bit taciturn and gruff but he's sound.

 

If there are more one-offs, isn't the possibility of more of those
one-offs not being one-offs anymore?
