Biff,As to the types of motorcycles I like, I like all types. I just get
bored with the same old look alike bikes out there. The ones that you
spend $20,000 on it and park it in a parking lot with other
motorcycles...and then can't find yours. I like fast motorcycles that

I've got a fast cruiser, but it's top speed is about where my other
two bikes just get started into their power.

back, theres another feller that will give you a run for your money as
long as the buzzards dont slow him down.

No, 100mph is cruising speed. I just hit top gear and get going good.
Those Wings will stay with me, but those aren't cruisers....and just
to clarify, Redshad and Louie don't have a problem staying with
me....until Dodge Neons get in the way...

That's a bunch of Bull Butter, about ''100mph'', being cruizen speed.
Dont tell me, I ''know those two guys'' on those Barge Cruisers, can
stay with you, atleast, and until you get dangerously fast.

-But, they push you into going extremely fast. ''Then they cock'' back
to a real cruising speed of 85. And watch you get radically fast.

more than twice with the "Wing Hoodlums" that post on this group.I
guarrantee,the black just warms up at 85.He is trying now to mod. his
because the cruise control doesn't work over 100mph.

 

I didn't say those Wings wouldn't go fast, they just aren't
cruisers....100mph is cruising for both me and those Wings. I've had
Louie up to 140mph before, until I finally pulled away from him and
bumped a bit faster.

What I *did* say was that a cruiser wasn't fast. You can't tell us
that your "Mighty Valk" can get anywhere close to 140mph. Top speed
for a typical VTwin (which I know a Valkarie isn't) is about 110 -
120mph and that's pushing it to the point of almost giving completely
out. In perspective, my Bird redlines around 12k and pulls 6k at
100mph. It can easily run 100mph in 2nd gear and have 6 gears total.

 

I too can validate this statement. Louie doesn't have a problem
getting up there in the speed ranges....

On our Ark ride, I learned how to check my speedmeter....remember.....

I'd never quite checked it like I did those coupla days......I thouht
Brian had to really ride to keep up with those 2 ''Wing Hoodlums'' on
that particular ride venture, dont you? bjayyyyyyyyy.
