    Work it out. ISDN2 at 128K [1] works out about right.

    [1] I've never achieved 128K prolly around 16K [2]
    [2] If I'm lucky.

    I thought that there was a minimum speed you could expect from your
    internet connection? 28.8 kbps on an analogue modem I think.

    As we all know, data transfer is based on BITS per second, not BYTES.

    So,
    1 Kilobit = 128 Bytes.
    128 Kilobits per second = 16,384 Bytes per second

    Therefore, that's about the right performance from a 128K IDSN line.
