There are some people with more money than sense

  1. Ebay item 130264884929

Heading for £1500 for a reasonable Yamaha RD125 twin. And whatever the
seller says, the bike was never sold in KR yellow anyway.

  2. A tad overpriced, yes. I had an RD125B once, having sold an
earlier model (AS3?). Took it on a 7,000 km trip through 5 States and one
Territory in 1975, averaging 99.9 km/gal IIRC. Best leg was Hay to
Goolgowi, 108 km in 58 min. For some reason I never discovered, it would
cut out on one cylinder after >1 hr at top whack; I suspected a condenser
    but never proved it.

  3. For a 125, that is *seriously* moving. Fractionally over 70mph average.

  6. I've actually emailed him to ask if the price is a misprint and did he
    mean £7,000?

And it made £1400. Utterly amazing.
