So, I'm looking at this website:
http://www.multiplaz.com/ins4.php paragraph 3.2 "WELDING" MODE and it says
" To produce a quality weld seam the torch should be filled with water
alcohol-solution (55% of water and 45% of alcohol or regular vodka)".

    Vodka? %-)

According to the pikey Tesco vodka I've got in the freezer, the ingredients
are Water, Ethanol and glycol or summat. Given that it's 40% ethanol, the
    numbers above make sense.

    It's shit, mind.

What's 'nice' vodka? I've never really understood how people
appreciate a drink that tastes of little, or nothing.

    There is no point otherwise.

Stolichnaya, IMHO is_the_vodka. Straight from the freezer with maybe a tiny
splash of Schweppes 'Russian' for the girls. Of course flavoured Stoly with
chilli, or Elderflower is also nice.

that's because Vodka, Kahlua and coke is not a Black Russian. It should be
    Vodka Kahlua and a strawberry.

    HTH )

  7. imho It's the smoothness of the bite. Tesco pikey vodka attempts to hack
your arm off with rusty spoons. Smirnoff red bites you, but has the
decency to clean its teeth first and tap you on the shoulder to take your
attention away first. Smirnoff blue, just out of the freezer, bites you
arm off, but you only notice when you look at your watch and release
that it's not there any more.

    HTH.

Smirnoff black stops you from caring about your watch, or indeed, your
    arm, legs and head.

with wittery prose along the lines of:

Zubrovka - Polish vodka with bison piss grass. Great with apple juice.
I can drink loads of the stuff and not get pissed.

Mined Ewe, the liver gives up before though. :)

BTW, saw French Absinth 68% (made in Paris!) for sale in Tesco's on
    Saturday.

  14. Personally I prefer a touch of guiness in my black russians.
In fact I don't think of a VKC as a black russian, just as a VKC. IYSWIM.

Well if that site can't even get the type of glass right, why on earth
would you believe their ingredients list is right?
